June WORKSHOP 6/25-26, a success!

On June 25 and June 26, the Binghamton University 2012 Teacher Leader Quality Partnership Summer Institute held two special days where TLQP colleagues from across the state came together to work on improving mathematics teaching and learning—
Dr. Schmittau continued her focus on teaching the Common Core standards in math. Dr. Tom Sweeney from Sage Colleges and Dr. Dean Spaulding from College of Saint Rose gave presentations. Bill Hildin gave us some problems on comparisons, ratios and percentages.
There were some nice manipulatives and other teaching aids for everyone to take home.
